After twenty years of serving dowtown San Francisco on the corner of Beale and Mission, the Beale Street Bar and Grill’s new address is only a few blocks away at 142 Minna St and New Montgomery. The new location is situated close to several well known venues, restaurants, clubs, hotels, and major convention centers. Construction has begun with DreamtDesign contractors efficiently building out the new 4000 square foot venue. We look forward to opening in the late Spring bringing everyone back their favorite American grill, sportsbar, and entertainment hub which will be known simplynow as “Beale Street Annex!”
Beale Street Bar & Grill – a recognized successful business of twenty years. Our formula for success is multi-tiered. On the surface our success is burgers, sports bar, and music and events. However, one of the most outstanding underlying elements of Beale Street is that it is a family owned business of third generation native San Franciscans thus giving it a very special warm ‘neighborhood bar and grill’ feel to the ambiance. Consequently our demographics appeal ranges from twenty one to seventy one and the greatest cross mix of people that you’ll ever see in one location. With all the upper crust type venues and bars that surround us at the new location of 142 Minna St, we know that we will be brining in a much needed and fresh balance of a casual and comfortable atmosphere for folks.
The American Grill –The Beale Street Burgers are primarily the ‘bread and butter’ of the grill. They have always been popular nominated for several years as one of the best burgers in San Francisco by CitySearch. The hearty and specially flavored half-pound burger is not only the best-priced burger in the city but also includes fries. The rest of the menu boasts a good variety of South of the Border entrees, Philly Cheese Steaks, and Hot Specials.
The Sports Bar – Beale Street has been one of the more popular sports bars in the SOMA area for over two decades. Our great family owned atmosphere, and our long time bartenders and servers of 15+ years have added great charm and spirit to the sports bar atmosphere. With a solid history of having several local sports celebrities as good friends and family, Beale Street brings a real San Francisco authenticity to its sports bar.
Corporate Events – Our relationship with surrounding fortune 100 companies has been very successful for over two decades in our old location. PGE, Schwab, Wells Fargo, Black rock, Federal Reserve, Gap, Blue Shield, Les Concierges, and Bank of America to name a few. These events were average 50 to 100 people per event and were always booked months in advance. This helped to give us a forecast of guaranteed business. Since we have only moved two blocks away, we expect not only to retain our former clients but also develop many new ones in the more immediate area. Additionally with Moscone Center being only a half block away with look to working with the convention center to become one of the preferred vendors for visiting conventioneers.
Live Entertainment – Most of the best local talents in San Francisco have performed frequently at our location. The live music atmosphere at Beale is a popular one because of the way we treat all artist/performers. Consequently we create symbiotic relationship with the bands whereby we provide a great musical experience for them and they provide a guaranteed crowd of 1500 new patrons each month. Lastly there are very few places in the area that have live entertainment so we would be that much more unique of a venue in the neighborhood.
